We........believe in providing a loving environment that allows the youth to grow in their relationships based on God's love.
We........believe in helping them recognize their oneness with Jesus Christ while being an influential part of the world.
We........encourage and supply fun Mission projects, spiritually guided field trips, innovative group fundraising, and inspiring indoor activities.

Our mission for JYG is to have a place where young people in grades 5 through 8th can experience what Christianity is all about while enjoying time with other kids who want to have a ‘good’ time in a safe environment!

JYG is open to kids who call Central home, to their friends, and to kids who are looking for a place to hang out! We have crazy fun but also build a church-based foundation by doing things that are good for everyone who comes to JYG but also that helps others in our world!

JYG is: Mission projects (Scavenger hunt for canned goods, the March of Dimes walk, Crop Walk, and lock-in’s to raise money for special causes.); new and interesting activities (Scrap-booking, washing of the feet, manhunt, and snow tubing.); fund raisiers (Project babysit, car wash with prayers and the Pumpkin Festival!) and field trips and lifetime memory creators (Keswick Retreat, Birthday party for Jesus, Ripley's Believe or Not, Worship on the Beach, mission trips, and more!). Since God is on our side: we are "indestructible"!!!!

“Youth Group. Those two words that liven Sunday afternoons when all you can think about is school the next day. That place where it doesn't matter who has the coolest clothes or the newest cell phone or the cutest boyfriend. A place you can go where you really are a unique individual and since God is on your side, you are 'indestructible'. It's the one special room where you don't have to be popular to be cool or different to be weird. It's where all of your quirks are accepted as talents. It's where you can truly hear God through the mouths of teens.” Emily Lewis, grade 8.
