 As a connectional member of the United Methodist Church, we have a men’s ministry that is chartered through the United Methodist Men that we refer to as our Igniting Men’s Ministry Team or IMMT. This fellowship of men meet in our chapel on the first and third Monday’s of every month for a time of devotion and planning. This team has helped support our church’s mission work and also the funding of our discretionary fund that is used to assist families in need. IMMT is open to any man in the church young and old!
On the second and fourth Mondays of every month our fellowship hall is filled with the sounds of a basketball’s bounce and men enjoying some great fellowship. Men’s Basketball Bible Study is a place to meet new friends, play some hoops whether you are any good or not, and have an open time of devotions with other men.
Every aspect of our church’s life has men involved and always needs more men. The men of Central United Methodist Church are our Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, cooks and carpenters, mission leaders, visionaries for our church’s future and much more.
