The Finance Team of Central UMC knows that ministry and mission growing here is reflected in the faces of lives, young and old, near and far, who are being changed, blessed, and nurtured by the people called United Methodists. From Linwood to Uganda, we are being sent by God into the world to make disciples of Christ for the transformation of the world.

This is a costly call. Discipleship always is. And God’s people know that to make a Healing Difference in the world will call us to faithful service and sacrifice. So we give! First because, Christ calls us to tithe the first fruits of what God blesses us with back to Him through the ministry of His Church, and secondly, because we know we are blessed to be a blessing.

We know we have a responsibility from God to share our resources with a hurting world in thoughtful, strategic, and generous ways. Each year God’s people here continue to take great steps of faith forward in their goal of becoming consistent tithers and in responding to the mission outreach of our church and the desperate needs of the world.
